Crypto Exchange Platform Changenow has reached a new performance milestone, officially unveiling the average cryptocurrency processing time of less than two minutes, placing it at the forefront of transaction speed and user experience between Web3’s non-custodial services, at a median of four minutes.
As Web3 platforms mature, cryptographic transfer times have become a critical factor in user behavior, not just in theory, but also in measurable preferences. A 2024 survey of Korean crypto investors found that 26.8% ranked deposits and withdrawal speeds as the most important factors when choosing to exchange, ahead of both liquidity and reputation.
Meanwhile, Binance’s 2024 Global User Survey, based on responses from over 27,000 participants, reported that 17.2% cited trading speed and ease as an important reason to enter Crypto first. Transaction speed is no longer a bonus, it’s a baseline. Most of the exchanges are still late.
“Two years ago, a 10-minute swap was the norm. Today, we consistently deliver under two people,” said Pauline Shangett, Chief Strategy Officer at Changenow. “It’s not only fast for Web3, but it’s comparable to the fastest crypto-transfer solution in FinTech.”
Platform performance was independently verified in the July 2025 Swapzone Industry report. It benchmarks real-time swap speeds across major instant exchange platforms. According to the report, the current industry median is 9-10 minutes, placing Channo between top performers in non-secondary segments.
“Speed has become mission critical,” added Shangett. “We expect sub-swap to become the industry standard by 2026, as real-world use cases scale and institutions will require fintech-grade UX from decentralized platforms. Potential is no longer acceptable, especially in applications that focus on cross-chain and payments.
