If your phone is desperately in need of an upgrade, there are many deals. New customers can earn up to $440 on Samsung and Google phones on Mint Mobile. For Apple’s loyalists, Verizon currently has free iPhone deals. Other mobile carriers are begging new customers for similar transactions.

But there is a catch in almost every case. Sometimes you have to lock yourself in a contract for three years.

If you like your current provider, or if you like the freedom and flexibility of monthly phone plans, taking advantage of those transactions may be a sacrifice for phone upgrades.

With the Android Savings event being held on Best Buy, you’re finally here to get a deal on a phone with no strings attached. Currently, Tech Retailer offers up to $450 discounts on the latest mobile phones from Samsung, Google and Motorola. All phones are unlocked, so they can be used with your selected carrier.

Top Phone Trading from Best Buy Android Savings Event

Best Buy has significantly reduced up to $450 from some of Samsung, Google and Motorola’s latest and most popular phones during the Android Savings event. Check out some of our favorite phone calls retailers have below.

Tips for saving more during Android Savings events

With up to $450 savings now, the Android Savings event on Best Buy is a great opportunity to save big on your already new phone. However, some shoppers may be able to cut further down the price tag with a few tricks.

When trading on an older mobile phone, you can save up to $300. To see how valuable a trade-in is in Best Buy, click on the phone you are interested in and scroll through the product page until you see “Tradin Value.” Click on it and then provide details about the model and status of your phone. Best Buy will instantly give you a quote. To get that trade-in credit, you pay the current price of your new phone in full. Next, after Best Buy receives the old phone call, you will receive a refund for the trade-in amount to the original payment method. Connect to Verizon or AT&T to get $100 off your selected phone. If you already have Verizon or AT&T (or want to switch), many of the phone deals currently available have an additional $100 off for customers who choose the “connect this phone to Verizon or AT&T” option at checkout. If you’re not happy with Verizon or AT&T as your phone will unlock, switch to another mobile provider later and bring your phone.
