The institutional appetite for digital assets is gaining momentum, with crypto investment products recorded last week of $882 million inflows. According to new data from Coinshares, this marks a four-week straight of positive flow.

In 2025, total digital asset investments were $6.7 billion, rapidly approaching a height of $7.3 billion in February.

James Butterfill, head of research at Coinshares, said the gathering is linked to wider economic pressures. He said the growing global money supply, concerns about US stagflation and supportive state-level policies for “Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset” are all driving the interest of new investors in the asset class.

Last week, two US states, New Hampshire and Arizona, passed laws that allowed public funds to hold Bitcoin and other select digital assets. These moves have shown significant changes, reflecting the growing approval of government top cryptos as a hedge in the global financial system.

US Bitcoin ETFs reach record cumulative net inflows

According to a report by Coinshares, the US Spot Bitcoin ETF has exceeded the cumulative net inflow of $62.9 billion since its launch in January 2024.

ETFS’ strong performance continued last week. Because the publisher collectively received a fresh influx of $867 million.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the fees and recorded a 19-day positive influx. With this stretch, the fund has attracted over $5 billion in new funds, surpassing the largest gold-backed ETF in capital raised this year.

Meanwhile, the ETF’s strong performance contributed to a US-based crypto investment product that attracted $840 million. Germany follows this, with $44.5 million and Australia at $10.2 million.

In contrast, Canada and Hong Kong recorded $8 million and $4.3 million outflows, respectively.

sui is better than Ethereum

On the Altcoin front, Sui surpassed his peers, drawing in a fresh influx of $11.7 million last week. SUI has been gathering fresh capitals of $84 million since the start of the year, surpassing Solana’s $76 million.

This performance is very noteworthy considering the sharp 30% rallies of Ethereum during the period and the completion of the highly anticipated Pectra upgrade.

However, ETH-based financial investment vehicles only derive net inflows of $1.5 million.

Meanwhile, XRP saw positive moves and recorded an influx of $1.4 million on weekdays. The total inflow this year is currently $258 million.
